There are also red, blue, and gold star templates that you can cut out and make star garland. Punch a hole in each star and thread some ribbon through the holes to make the garland. If you print the stars out on cardstock like this, it will be much sturdier than paper, and you could reuse it every year. This is a fun project for kids to make homemade decorations for Memorial Day or the 4th of July. It is also an excellent way for kids to practice their cutting skills.
