Do you ever feel like every day is the same?
You get up, you go to work, you come home, you get a few things done, then you go to bed. Only to get up the next day and do it all over again.
Welcome to Add A Little Adventure!
Who Am I?
My name is Cris. I am the creator of AddALittleAdventure.com. A long time ago, I used to feel like I was the person watching life pass me by. I was working as an attorney and I was working very long hours. My children were small at the time and they were growing up way too fast. I felt like I was missing way too much of it.
I decided I wanted to find a way to spend more time with my family while still being able to make a good income. Lifestyle was important to me. I knew that most people would work at a job (even one they didn’t like) day after day waiting for the day they could retire.
This wasn’t the path for me. So, way back in 2004, I quit my job.
Shortly after quitting my job, I started an e-commerce store. I consider this to be one of the best decisions I ever made. However, as I am sure many of you know, working from home with kids presents its own challenges. I could now set my own hours and be available for all of my kids activities etc. But I had to become extremely self-disciplined in order to have everything run smoothly.
What you will find at Add A Little Adventure
I began looking for ways and tips to improve my productivity, time management, organization, and other skills to help me with both work and home. I loved discovering things that would make my life easier. I also look for ways to stay motivated and inspired.
I’m sharing all the different ideas I’ve discovered along the way. Any helpful tips or ideas that might benefit someone else, I want to share! I’m also a little obsessed with vacation planning and Disney World. These are just topics I love and wanted to share.
Everyone deserves to live a life with a little more adventure in it. Whatever that looks like to you, I hope you find what I’m sharing here helpful!
