Each day a different family member can pick a card at random and that is the activity that will be done for that day. Some are much more time involved than others so if you want you can sort the cards into different piles depending on how much time of preparation or duration each of the family activities will typically take. Then you can pick from the appropriate pile depending on how much time you have that day.
